Storage Components
MetaConnector for Lotus Domino supports - completely independent from the Lotus Domino administration - all storage components, which are offered by the used archive. Any kind of magnetic or optical systems that can be distributed in an enterprise wide environment are considered. Using an archiving solution, the Administration Center can be used to configure your archive scenario and the integration of your Lotus Domino servers.

Example Configuration
Using a Compaq archiving solution, all components are distributed and allow scalable enterprise wide groupware and archiving solutions. Different archiving scenarios such as mirroring and document migration are supported.

Additional information is stored in conjunction with each Lotus Domino document. These attributes can be used later on to distribute the data within the archive, to merge the data or to separate the documents to different storage media. Please ask for other supported archiving solutions which are compatible with MetaConnector for Lotus Domino.
